Michele and Alyssa's Wedding at the Red Barn at Hampshire College

Ryan Williams

Michele and Alyssa were married on November 05, 2016 with their ceremony and reception at the Red Barn at Hampshire College in Amherst, MA.

Michele's brother was Alyssa's best friend in college and from there it was a match made in heaven. When planning the proposal, Alyssa created a dog collar for Michele's dog, Tigger. After a romantic walk, Tigger helped pop the question!

Michele and her mom had been out shopping for a wedding dress quite a bit. While Michele desperately wanted to be done shopping for a dress and was ready to settle, they found Modern Bride and Formal Shop. When Michele put on her dress she immediately wanted to take it off because she knew if she left it on a second longer she would burst into tears all over the dress. It was very clear she wasn't settling for a dress but had truly found the perfect one. The proof is in the pictures. She looks absolutely stunning in every one.

Michele and Alyssa chose to do a first look before the ceremony because they knew it would help ease their nerves. They both appreciated that time together without any distractions. We made sure that they had our time to quietly speak their personal vows to each other and take a moment to simply be themselves.

Their first dance as a married couple was to Zac Brown Band’s “Whatever It Is” and the couple was all smiles. Their love lit up the room. The wedding was such a fun and exciting day. Michele and Alyssa said that there were so many moments when they would pause and know that they were surrounded by love and pure happiness.

They also had some advice to share:

“Our advice to other couples about photography is to hire Four Wings Photography! Ryan and Ian made our day so enjoyable with their upbeat, down-to-earth personalities. We trusted them with not only taking the perfect pictures but also all advice on what other vendors to work with and how to make the day run smoothly, it was the best choice we could have made. When planning your wedding, relax and know that everything will come together. Just have fun with it!”

We’re so thankful for their endorsement. Michele and Alyssa, it was so much fun to capture your wedding. Thank you for letting us be a part of it and we wish you a lifetime of happiness!

Anna and Adrian's Wedding at the Lord Jeffery Inn

Ryan Williams

Anna and Adrian were married on June 4th, with a ceremony and reception at the Lord Jeffery Inn.

These two amazing people met at UMass during Anna’s first year of college and Adrian’s sophomore year. Her roommate at the time had lost her phone at an on-campus event, and Adrian had offered to help look. As they were searching, they struck up a conversation, and he ended up asking for her number!

Anna told the story of how Adrian proposed to her:

Adrian proposed in Orlando when he took me to see the new Diagon Alley addition to Harry Potter World at Universal (we are HUGE fans). On Wednesday, August 6th, 2014, we spent the day by our hotel pool relaxing with a few cocktails, chatting about our relationship and our happy memories. It was super sweet, but I thought nothing of it because Adrian is such a romantic. Later that night, he told me that we were going somewhere special for dinner, and so we got all dressed up (he even wore a bowtie!) and headed out to downtown Orlando. He seemed a little nervous, and I was a little curious at this point but said nothing. It was the perfect date; we drank fine wine, ate a gourmet meal and had the most amazing crème brûlée for dessert. All throughout the night, we talked about us and where we saw it all going with school, work, etc. Again, I was curious but thought nothing of it. After dinner, we went out for drinks and still NOTHING! At this point, if I had any suspicion that he would propose, it was completely gone. When we got back to the hotel, I got into my pajamas, and Adrian tapped me on the shoulder and then I turned around and BOOM! There he was with the ring in his hand. Turns out he was waiting for the right time all night and that moment with only us and no one around was just it. We then spent the next day telling all our family and friends and celebrating at Disneyworld!

Before the wedding itself, Anna and Adrian had a prior to heading out to the customized ceremony that was meant to honor not only their commitment to each other but to God and their families. It was truly beautiful, and CJC Productions did a stunning job not only with the uplighting but with the chandelier on the pergola that just completed the stunning vision.

After that, they headed to the reception, where they started things off with a beautiful first dance. It wasn’t choreographed—just the two of them having fun together and setting the tone for the night!

Adrian & Anna, thank you for allowing me to be part of your amazing day, 10 years in the making! It’s obvious to see the true love and commitment you two share, and I wish you nothing but the best!

Sarah and David's Wedding at the Lord Jeffrey Inn

Ryan Williams

Sarah and David were married on October 25th, with a ceremony and reception at the Lord Jeffrey Inn

Dave grew up in Chicago, and so that’s where he wanted to propose. The day before Thanksgiving in 2014, he brought Sarah to the John Hancock Tower on Michigan Avenue. Sarah suspected something, but Dave had a history of surprise dinners, so there was no real guarantee of a ring. Dave managed to play it sufficiently cool as the restaurant staff prepared a table with a stunning view of the Loop, Navy Pier, and the Wilis (nee Sears) Tower. With a little-unexpected help from a tourist taking pictures in front of the table, Sarah didn’t notice the flowers on the table until it was too late and Dave was already on one knee. When she said yes, the entire dining room broke into applause.

Before the ceremony, Sarah and David decided to have a first look. She couldn’t wait to see Dave in his suit and for Dave to see her in her dress, and she seemed so much more relaxed for having seen him.

The ceremony itself was beautiful, especially the look in Dave’s eyes when he couldn’t keep from watching Sarah the entire time. It was clear that these two truly care for each other as well as for the people around them.

After the ceremony, Dave and Sarah had a “yichud,” which is a moment in Jewish tradition that the bride and groom share alone after the ceremony. For just a few moments, it was just the two of them, and they both came back from it feeling ready to take on the reception and all the celebrations ahead.

Sarah & David, thank you so much for allowing me to be part of your celebrations. It was truly a beautiful and memorable occasion!

Mackenzie + Mike's Lord Jeffrey Inn Wedding

Ryan Williams

The-Lord-Jeffrey-Inn-Wedding-Four-Wings-Photography-WEB_0001.jpg

Mackenzie and Mike were married on September 4th, with a ceremony and a reception at the Lord Jeffrey Inn in Amherst, MA.

These two met while they were at Hamilton College, and they dated for some time before they got engaged. When Mike proposed, they were visiting their alma mater with their black lab, Colby. It was a snowy day as they took a hiking path in the woods, and Mackenzie was throwing snowballs for Colby to chase when she turned around, and there was Mike kneeling down with a ring.

On the day of the wedding, Mackenzie and Mike opted for a first look, and then we took plenty of pictures before the ceremony. They wanted to enjoy the reception without having to worry about fitting in time for pictures after the ceremony.

The ceremony itself was held outdoors, on the back patio of the inn, in beautiful fall weather. It was a heartwarming ceremony, filled with obvious affection, as they were surrounded by family and friends.

Then, it was off to the reception. The food was wonderful, and I especially loved the way they utilized the rooftop at the inn. The music was phenomenal as well, and everyone seemed to honestly be enjoying themselves as they all partied hard in celebration of the new couple.

Thank you, Mackenzie & Mike, for trusting me to capture this amazing moment in your lives! I wish you both nothing but the best together.
